How To Clean Magnetic Lashes

Founder Zhou shows you how to clean your Lashible magnetic lashes, so you can wear them over and over again. With proper care, they should last you up to 60 wears.

Before cleaning your lashes, wash your hands with soap and water to prevent the spread of germs to your eyes.

Method 1: Quick & Easy Clean

  • After each wear, clean the lash band (and magnets if you have our 12 micro magnet lashes) by gently pulling off any residual liner (if there is any) with your fingernails or fingertips from the lash band. Be careful when cleaning the inner and outer corners to ensure no damage to the lash band or pulling out the lashes.
  • Removing the liner from the lash band will ensure the lash band (or magnets) can grip onto the liner for your next use.
  • Store lashes back in their storage case.
  • Always use this cleaning method unless the lash band or lashes are very dirty and require a deeper clean.

Method 2: Deep Clean Lash Band

  • If you've removed the liner from the lash band using your fingers and the lash band is still dirty and no longer adheres well to the liner, then use this cleaning method to do a deep clean of the lash band.
  • To preserve the life of your lashes, only use this deep cleaning method when necessary - such as after every 10 or so wears (or even longer if possible).
  • Dip a cotton tip in water-based micellar water. DO NOT use oil-based makeup remover, waterproof makeup remover or cleansing oil etc as this will cause the lashes to fall apart.
  • Lay the whole lash over the length of your index finger, so that the curl of the lashes curve over your finger. Grasp the lashes with your thumb to keep the lashes and lash band in place. Using the soaked cotton tip, gently run it along the lash band, then gently push the liner upwards and off of the lash band (and magnets).
  • Be careful when cleaning the inner and outer corners to ensure no damage to the lash band or pulling out the lashes.
  • Store lashes back in their storage case.

Method 3: Complete Deep Clean

  • This cleaning method should only be used if your lashes and lash band are very dirty (and can't be cleaned sufficiently with the previous methods), your lashes need to be fluffed up again and a deep clean is absolutely necessary. With proper care, this method should only need to be used a maximum of 3 times during the lifetime of your lashes (40-60 wears).
  • To do a complete deep clean, place your lashes into a small bowl and cover the lashes with water-based micellar water. Give the lashes a mix, then let them soak for around 1 minute, and no longer than 3 minutes.
  • DO NOT use oil-based makeup remover, waterproof makeup remover or cleansing oil etc as this will cause the lashes to fall apart. Also DO NOT use shampoo, hand wash or dish soap etc.
  • After soaking for 1 minute, remove all lashes from the micellar water and place them onto some tissues or paper towels.
  • Lay the whole lash over the length of your index finger, so that the curl of the lashes curve over your finger. Dip a cotton tip into the micellar water. Using your thumb to keep the lashes and lash band in place, gently clean the lashes with the soaked cotton tip in an upwards motion to remove any dirt, oils and makeup. To clean the lash band, use the soaked cotton tip to gently push the liner upwards and off of the lash band (and magnets).
  • Be careful when cleaning the inner and outer corners to ensure no damage to the lash band or pulling out the lashes.
  • Then place the lashes into a small bowl filled with water and give them a mix to rinse off the micellar water. Place the lashes onto some tissues or paper towels and gently pat them dry. Once they're at least 80%-90% dry, place them into their storage cases and use your Lashible Pink Crystal Lash Brush to gently fluff up the lashes. When they're completely dry, close the case and store them in a cool, dry, and dark place.

Important Tips

  • If wearing mascara with your magnetic lashes, use an oil-free, waterproof mascara and allow to dry before applying your lashes. DO NOT apply mascara directly onto your magnetic lashes as this will cause damage to them.
  • DO NOT use oil-based removers, waterproof makeup remover or cleansing oil to clean your magnetic lashes as this will cause them to fall apart.
